Syllogism MCQs

Solved syllogism MCQs for IBPS, SBI and SSC: two statements, two conclusions, and the standard rules for all, some, no and either-or cases, explained with Venn-diagram reasoning.

20 MCQsUpdated 27 October 2026

Syllogism questions give two or more statements and ask which conclusions definitely follow. This set covers All, Some and No statements, and "either–or" cases.

Draw a simple Venn diagram for each statement and test every conclusion against it. A conclusion follows only if it is true in every possible diagram, not just one.

Statements: All cats are dogs. All dogs are birds. Conclusions: I. All cats are birds. II. Some birds are cats.
