Data Interpretation Basics MCQs

Solved data interpretation MCQs for banking prelims: totals, averages, percentage change and ratios from small data sets, with worked solutions.

20 MCQsUpdated 27 October 2026

Data interpretation questions give a small table of figures, such as sales, students, production or accounts opened, and ask for totals, averages, percentages and ratios.

Read the units and the years carefully before calculating, and round only at the end. Many DI options are close, so an approximate answer is often not enough.
